In July 1997, Marvel Comics had a special FLASHBACK event. Series got "Minus One" or #-1 issues, set before the rocket flight that created the Fantastic Four. This was during HEROES REBORN, so the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, Iron Man and Captain America weren't involved.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds gave us their puppet episode which was... shall we say "divisive" with fans.
Late addition: I've just found out, through a social media post which oddly used the past tense, that Dolly Parton, one of the most remarkable women of her generation has passed away at the age of 80 following recent health issues.
As a singer, performer and philanthropist, as well as someone who broke every stereotype going and told more hilarious jokes about herself than anyone attempting to put her down could ever dream of, she was a genuine treasure and the world is a smaller, gloomier place without her. But, as I'm sure she's said herself, don't be sad she's gone. be glad she was here at all.
Our sincere sympathies to her fans, friends and family.

This Nightwing run's focused on that as a counterpoint to the previous run's optimism. It started with a fifth-dimensional circus of chaos using Blüdhaven as a contrast to look good to impressionable children, and it's currently describing the side effects of a superhighway built over the aftermath of that circus.
#139 is death brought up as a result of the superhighway - #140 opens on what the superhighway's done to Blüdhaven life.

I was half way through writing a mail to Wil Moss saying I didn’t have time to think up an idea, and unless one hits me immediately, I’ll have to say no. So, that solar eclipse was quite something, no?
I've seen the TARDIS described as less of a space/time machine so much as a genre machine, it can land in any scenario imaginable, but looks like the Enterprise of "Strange New Worlds" is trying to outdo it. The genre it landed on this week was "noir", with a moody black and white story which owed a LOT to Casablanca, and very little to the Prime Directive. This week's episode is the puppet one, so Surak knows how that's going to work out.
"My Adventures with Superman" finished it's season and, honestly, I'm not sure I felt this nearly as much as the previous ones. Superman was sidelined for much of it and Clark wasn't given much to do either, except react to random kids popping up form the timestream and the not-Bizarro clone version of himself who just randomly showed up from time to time and no one commented on. Plus the getting his powers back thing seems to have been omitted, or was it supposed to hint at something for next season? All I'll say is that When even Waller seems... "and Amanda was there too" you have to wonder what was going on behind the scenes. Cute end scene though.
D23 released a slew of information, from LEGO The Mandalorian to Frozen 3, but in terms of scene-stealing, it's hard to top Glenn Close showing up as Cruella De Vil for the announcement about Villains Land (and good heavens those SHOES?!?), though perhaps the most unexpected bit was Jodi Benson singing a rather different song than we might normally expect from the original voice of Ariel
