The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Sebastian Stan will be playing Harvey Dent in The Batman: Part II.
Bucky jokes aside I think this is great casting.

It's quite a seat-of-the-pants book. I told you I had plans very far ahead. Are there sort of waypoints? I kind of know where we need to be by this issue. I know where we need to be by this issue... I'm still gonna sit down and, like, start writing a new issue. I'll suddenly think, ‘Oh, what if I threw this in there?’ I threw Terry Long into an issue. Not for very long. Nobody needs to worry. The official line was that Justice League America would be the funnier title and Justice League Europe would be the more serious one, but things weren’t working out that way so far. As JLA #30 took that title to new depths of darkness, JLE #6 was Giffen and DeMatteis’ most ridiculous issue yet, its plot shamelessly engineered for maximum absurdity. ( Rumiko Takahashi couldn’t have done it better. )
It all stemmed from wanting to do something to celebrate Venom reaching issue 252–the number in which in Amazing Spider-Man Spidey started wearing the symbiote. When I suggested we put Venom in a red and blue costume, I was only kidding…but so many of the best ideas start as jokes! Everyone loved it. I got Luchiano to design it because hot damn he is great at that. There are so many great details in there. I then took that design to writer Jordan Morris, who came up with the character and story to go with it. That story will be a backup in the issue and introduce this new Venom to the world! But we weren’t done with the design yet–Al Ewing ALSO loved the look of it and the celebration, so he cooked up an excuse for MJ to rock that look in 616 as well! -- Jordan D. White

The intent of these posts is to chat and have some fun and, sure, vent a little as required. Reasoned debate is fine, as always, but if you have to ask if something is going over the line, think carefully before posting please.
Normal board rules about conduct and behaviour still apply, of course.
It's been suggested that, if discussing spoilers for recent media events, it might be advisable to consider using the rot13 method to prevent other members seeing spoilers in passing.
The world situation is the world situation. If you're following the news, you know it as much as I do, if you're not, then there are better sources than scans_daily. But please, no doomscrolling, for your own sake.
Though... I mean... c'mon 2026, could you have not given us just a couple of weeks of relative calm? Was that SO much to ask? But... well... here we are.
The "Stranger Things" finale aired, with mixed, though generally positive reviews, though it did confirm the complete lack of the most hotly fanticipated slash pairings in recent media. Honestly, I never saw it myself, and I prefer the ending both characters got, but I appreciate that many were hoping for it.
Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers released it's OP, and the first episode aired in Japan today. Heavy on the neon, but a couple of nice nods to the original series openings.
